Progress of Cement-based Neutron Shielding Materials in Nuclear Protecting

Neutrons in different energies have different shielding methods,the application of cement-based materials for neutron shielding is very important.In this paper,base of the neutron shielding,the shielding theory of neutron is introduced,the recent developments of cement-based materials for neutron shielding are reviewed,several basic problems in the research are analyzed,a developing trend of the neutron shielding cement-based materials are brought forward as:increasing the shielding properties of concrete,designing the new materials and structures,improving construction performances,establishing evaluation systems for durability.
