Super Duplex Stainless Steel Weld Phase Ratio Influencing Factors

  • Weld microstructure of 25% Cr super duplex stainless steel was investigated and the influence of alloy elements and welding procedure on weld microstructure was analysed.The results indicate that high chromium nickel equivalent ratio in the welds is needed for ideal microstructure,and for manual arc welding,heat input affects weld microstructure undistinguished while the annealing effect of the follow-up bead increases austenite content in preceding beads.
