Application of X-ray Diffraction Peak Separation Technology on Field HeatTreatment Two-phase Analysis of Ferromagnetic NiMnGa Intelligent Alloy

  • By using X-ray diffraction peak separation technology,the microstructural variation in ferromagnetic NiMnGa intelligent alloy was investigated for various heat treatments with or without a static magnetic field.The results show that applied magnetic field can induce more amount of martensitic phase compared with that obtained by same heat treatment but zero field and,meanwhile,various schedules of magnetic heat treatment bring forth different preferential orientation of twin variants.
