Preparation and Electro-oxidation of La-doped PbO2 Electrodes for Aqueous Phenol emoval

  • Modified lead dioxide electrodes on Ti substrates were prepared by electro-deposition.Technological parameters of the electrode preparation were optimized by changing the electro deposition temperature,electrode deposition time and the surface dopes La influencing factors in the degradation process of phenol.The experimental results showed that when the electro deposition temperature was at 50℃,the electro deposition time was 2 hours,Pb and La in the ratio of 4∶1,the electro-catalytic phenol degradation of the La-doped Ti/Sn-Sb/PbO2 eletrodes was significantly improved with phenol removal reached 90.9%.
