Effect of Mg Content on Microstructure and Electrochemical Performance of Al-Zn-In-Mg-Ti-Ga-Mn Sacrificial Anode

  • Influence of magnesium content on the microstructure and electrochemical performance of Al-Zn-In-Mg-Ti-Ga-Mn alloy sacrificial anode were investigated by means of microscope,scanning electron microscope(SEM) and electrochemical methods.The results indicated that with the increase of Mg content,segregative phase increased in the increase of trend of intergranular corrosion and the decrease of electrochemical properties.The segregative phase became well-distributed when the content of magnesium was less than 2%,and the anode may have a good performance.
