Study of Lead(Pb1)+ Steel(Q245R) Clad Plate by Explosive Welding

  • In this paper,the approximate range of explosive welding technics parameters(explosive welding window) of lead(Pb1) and steel(Q245R) is determined on theory and experiential formula.Then,the parameters are optimized and some experiments are carried out.The bonding interface and bonding strength have been investigated by the means of appearance observation,UT,mechanical property test and microscopic observation,etc.The results show that the theory and experiential formula are helpful on which the parameters selected are appropriate to ensure the excellent compounding quality of Pb1-Q245R.
