Research on SAW Process of Thick Hull Steel Plates with Double Bevel Groove

  • Ordinary SAW procedure and a new procedure combining MAG and SAW were used in the welding of thick Hull steel plates with a double bevel groove. The results showed that the new procedure can improve efficiency of welding obviously and reduce harmfulness of dust and noise to welders.
