Technology and Microstructure of Flame Distortion Correction and Line Neat Forming for New Type 440 MPa Ship Building Steel

  • The paper studies the technology of flame distortion correction and line neat forming test on TMCP new type 440MPa grade ship-building steel which has low carbon content and is micro alloyed. The mechanical properties and microstructure are analyzed after hot working processes. The results show that the new type 440 MPa steel is sensitive to flame distortion temperature but is well adaptive to line neat forming technology.
