The Research of Welding of Duplex Stainless Steel SA240-S31803

  • The welding technology of duplex stainless steel SA240-S31803 was investigated in this paper. Metallograph structure in different zone of welds were compared. The results indicate that ferrite phase in welds was about 35%~69%. The ferrite phase in backing weld was about 15%,lower than in cosmetic weld. For the same weld,the ferrite phase in weld metal zone is 20% lower than in heat-affected zone.
