Research Progress on Lightning Protection of Composite Material Wind Turbine Blade

As an important component of wind turbine,lightning striking of wind turbine blade will cause great loss. So research on wind turbine blade lightning protection is attracting more and more attention. In this paper,the damage types and mechanism of wind turbine blades struck by lightning were discussed,and several kinds of receptor were introduced. The research progress of wind turbine blade lightning protection was also introduced.
