Properties of Meta-aramid Paper Honeycomb at Home and Abroad

In this paper,the mechanical properties at room temperature,high temperature and after heat aging,as well as vertical combustion properties of the honeycomb core made of domestic and imported meta-aramid paper were investigated.It was found that the properties of medium and high density honeycomb made of domestic meta-aramid paper reach and partially surpass that of the honeycomb made of imported meta-aramid paper,the mechanical properties of low density domestic honeycomb still has gap with the imported ones.The result showes that the domestic meta-aramid paper meet the requirements of honeycomb production largely,and the domestic supply of important raw materials is guaranteed.
