Study on Corrosion Resistance of E36 and 10CrNiCu Steels in Sea Water

  • The corrosion resistance in sea water of E36 and 10CrNiCu ship steels was detected via corrosion potential test and accelerated corrosion rate test indoor.The results show that 10CrNiCu has higher potential value and lower corrosion rate and exhibits better corrosion resistance in sea water.The corrosion rate of 10CrNiCu steel reduced when coupled with E36 steel as cathode.
