Effect of Forging Times on Fracture Toughness and High Cycle Fatigue of TB6 Alloy

  • The effect of forging times on fracture toughness and high cycle fatigue of Ф220 mm TB6 bar was investigated through forging with the same copping forging technology and at the same forging temperature. SEM observation manifested that the microstructure of TB6 alloy bar is homogeneous, the fracture toughness property and high cycle fatigue are in best combination, when the temperature is 770℃, the forging times are 20.
