Abstract
Lanthanum doped TiO2/organic modified bentonite composite photocatalyst was prepared by ultrasonic-assisted sol-gel method, while the bentonite was modified by cationic surfactant cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide. The micro-structure of the photocatalyst was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and Uv-Vis absorption spectroscopy respectively.The absorption performance, repeated recycled performance and photocatalytic performance of composite photocatalyst were studied by using TNT as mode organic pollutants. The results showed that organic modification can restrain the growing of TiO2 grain size, increase the absorption intensity of composite photocatalyst, and enhance the photocatalytic performance of composite photocatalyst.
