  • For high strength steel low-match butt joints, a design principle of joint dimension on which static strength of the joints are equal to base and fatigue strength satisfies to some toe stress concentration factor was put forward in this paper. According to the design principle, the design graphs of dimension parameter suited for 30~80 mm plate low-match butt joint were drafted through FEM calculation.
