Preparation and Characterization of Epoxy/Acrylic Gradient Coating

  • A gradient coating which composed by epoxy resin and acrylate resin was investigated. The epoxy part is 601 epoxy resin and NX2015 curing agent. The acrylate part prepared by author contains silicon which is tracer element in characterization of gradient coating. The epoxy-acrylate coating has been characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy X-ray energy dispersive analysis.
