Abstract
The hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of high strength steel protected by traditional sacrificial anodes would increase due to high driving voltage. In order to solve this problem, the present work was focussed on developing low driving voltage sacrificial anode for high strength steels. Taking the Ga as main active elements, we designed and prepared several aluminum alloy anodes by adding Zn and Si for improving the dissolution performance. And the excellent sacrificial anode was attained and it could provide effective protection for high strength steel and wouldn't increase hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity.
