Application Performance Research of Welded Titanium Tube for Substitute Seamless Titanium Tube

  • Welded titanium pipes expansion performance, bearing capacity, vibration and anti-fatigue properties were tested. The results showed that using the same inflation pressure, pull-off force of welded pipe is higher than that of the seamless titanium pipe. Piessurized to the maximum design vessel pressure 35 MPa for 3 minutes, both of the titanium welded pipe and seamless pipe had no crack under the same vibration conditions. Vibration fatigue damage did not occur on the titanium and titanium seamless pipe.
