The Investigation of Energy-Saving Micro Arc Oxidation Technology on Titanium alloy

  • The power and energy consumption values on per unit area of micro arc oxidation film on titanium alloys were studied by adjusting the conductance of the solution. The roughness, phase composition, microstructure and insulation resistance of prepared films were investigated. The results show that with the increase of the conductivity of the solution, the arcing voltage were reduced significantly and the power and energy consumption on per unit area were reduced effectively.
