Abstract
Inconel 625 alloy as surfacing welding layer of composite tube has been widely used in the marine gas transportation.Weight loss method, electrochemical polarization and AC impedance were used to investigate the initial corrosion behavior of Inconel 625 alloy surfacing welding layer in seawater at 10 ℃.The results showed that, the initial corrosion rate of the layer was fast, but then dropped quickly to 0.000 4 mm/a.No pitting and passive film weve observed on the surface of the Incomel 625 surfacing welding layer. The surfacing welding layer exhibited uniform corrosion and its anti-corrosion property was excellent after 90 days of immersion in seawater.
