Effects of Mechanical Vibration on Microstructure and Properties of ZTC4 Alloy During Solidification

  • The effect of high frequency mechanical vibration on the microstructures and mechanical properties of cast titanium alloy ZTC4 has been studied.The results show that after mechanical vibration,the grain size of ZTC4 are not refined obviously and the mechanical properties of castings have no obvious improvement,but the shrinkage of castings is greatly reduced.
