Abstract
Benzisothiazolinone grafted acrylate zinc resin which has the similar antifouling structure to acrylate TBT resin was synthesized.Benzisothiazolinone was modified by grafting a carboxyl group from maleic anhydeide and added it to acrylic resin as a side-chain in order to obtain benzisothiazolinone grafted acrylate zinc resin.Then benzisothiazolinone grafted acrylate zinc resin was characterized by FI-TR and 1H-NMR.Besides, antibacterial experiment by Vibrio sp.and Pseudoalteromonas sp.show that benzisothiazolinone grafted acrylate zinc resin has excellent antibacterial activity.
