Effect of Heat Treatment Temperature on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of SPCC Cold Rolled Steel Strip

  • The SPCC cold rolled steel strip was heat treated for 5 min at the temperatures of 550,600,650,700 and 750 ℃,then cooled quickly in water. The effect of heat treatment temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of SPCC cold rolled steel strip were studied. The results indicate that the yield strength,tensile strength and rockwell hardness of SPCC cold rolled steel strip increased and the extensibility of SPCC cold rolled steel strip decreased with the heat treatment temperature increased. The microstructure of SPCC cold rolled steel strip heat treated at the temperature of 550 and 600 ℃ were ferrite and beaded granular pearlite,while ferrite and island pearlite was formed at the temperature of 750 ℃.
