Preparation of Amorphous TiO2 Nanotube and Light Induced Hydrophilic Properties

Abstract
Amorphous TiO2 nanotube was prepared on titanium sheet by anodization and its surface morphology is characterized by SEM. The water contact angle on TiO2 nanotube is gauged by JGW-360 A contact angle measuring instrument and the factor on hydrophilicity of nanotube is studied including illumination time,tube diameter,tube length and so on. The results show that amorphous TiO2 nanotube irradiated at 25 W possess excellent hydrophilicity,tube diameter has little influence on hydrophilic property,the longer the carbon nanotubes,the better the hydrophilicy.
