Progress in Research of Polymer Concrete

Polymer concrete( PC) with high strength,fast curing,good adhesive properties,good resistance to chemical corrosion and other characteristics,has been widely used in construction,transportation engineering,mechanical engineering,water conservancy facilities and other fields,with good research value and application prospects. The progress in research of PC are introduced,the use as a new kind of ocean engineering material is proposed. At the end,the problems in research are pointed out and the research directions are discussed,a proposal on developing better performance,lower cost and more environmental protection of new PC,realizing optimized design of material properties and cost is presented.
