The electrochemical behaviour of deep-sacrificial anode developed was evaluated in a simulated deep-sea environment through electrochemical performance test, polarization and electrochemical impedance test. The results showed an excellent electrochemical performance of these anodes in deep-sea environment. The current efficiency of the anode reached 95%, the actual capacity of more than 2 700 A·h/kg, the working potential of about-1. 1 V, the dissolution morphology was uniform. There was no corrosion product adherent to the anode surface, but the current output and reactivity in deep-sea slightly lower than which in shallow area, due to the impact of low temperature and low oxygen.
