Classical Application of Gleeble Thermal / Mechanical Simulation Technique in Steel Research

  • Gleeble thermal/mechanical simulator which can accurately control the parameters such as thermal, force and displacement and can reproduce the state of thermal and force in material processing, was used widely in new material and processing research. Typical application of Gleeble thermal/mechanical simulation technique in the development of steels was introduced from the aspect of casting, hot working, welding and physical parameters measurement. Important details on precipitation and physical parameter testing were emphasized.
