Abstract
Finite element software has been used to numerical simulation for explosive welding process of the large Area T2/Q235 B clad plate.And the parameters of explosive welding have been optimized by simulating the welding process with different explosion heights.The research indicates that the bond rate of the clad plate is the highest when explosion height with 78 mm and spacer with 14 mm was used.With the optimized parameters,the microstructure of the clad plate'interface is wavy and the all the properties meet the requirements of the related specifications.
