Research Progress on Calculation Method for Fraction Transformed of Austenite Decomposition in Steel

The fundamental of calculating the transformed volume fraction from austenite in steel is summarized,so are the limitations.The research progress of the improved methods by taking the influences of the differences in specific volumes of different phases,the enrichment of carbon in austenite and the anisotropy in dilatation into consideration is introduced and the corresponding disadvantages are pointed out.
