Determination of Fe in Pure Tantalum and Tantalum Products by DC Arc Spectrometry

  • Determination conditions for Fe in pure tantalum and tantalum products were discussed and the determination method established. The wavelengths,integral time and point location in the background of Fe were determined by tests. According to the experiment,the standard addition recovery is between 92.73% and 107.27%,the relative standard deviation(RSD,n = 10) of Fe content is 4.8%,and the Fe detection limit is 1.41 μg/g. The determination results presented by this method are basically in accordance with those by GE-340 grating spectrum method and DV-5 dc arc spectrum method.
