The Development and Prospect of Inner-hole Welding

Inner-hole welding and edge welding are popular in the soldering of the sheet-and-tube heat exchanger. Inner-hole welding can respond better to high reliability and long service life of the heat exchanger than edge welding which is prevailing at present. In this paper, the principles and characteristics of tube-sheet welding by inner-hole welding, the application of the technology and its equipments are introduced. The potential applications of the technology are pointed out.
