Research on Rotation Speed of Driving Roll in the Rollig of Titanium Ring Used for Electrodeposited Copper Foil

  • The ring rolling simulation was made based on the finite element software Deform-3D and 3D modeling software. Different rotation speeds (1.75 rad/s, 2.25 rad/s, 2.75 rad/s and 3.25 rad/s) were selected to analyze the effects of rotation speeds on the temperature field, effective strain and the microstructure and formability of the ring. The simulation results showed the best rotation speed was 1.75 rad/s, and was verified by actual production, and the verified results agreed with the simulation results.
