Study on the Application of Infrared Absorption Method in Carbon Analysis of Vanadium

  • Carbon-Sulfur Analyzer LECO CS600 was adopted to determine carbon in vanadium by HF-combustion infrared absorption method. The results show that, when the sample weight is between 0. 25~0. 35 g, analysis time is 30 s, weight of WSn is between 1. 3~1. 6 g, the analytical method has good accuracy and precision, and the lower bound limit analysis of carbon is 0.003% (w).
