Study on Explosive Welding Process of 3Cr13Mo/42CrMo Clad Bar Lengthening

  • 3Cr13Mo/42CrMo clad bar with no necking-down area is prepared by using explosive welding method.Resultsshow that by quenching heat treatment, the hardness of the cover layer of the clad bar is increased by 35%, reaching HRC54, and the binding strength of the clad bar can be further improved after hardening heat treatment.
