Preparation and Electrochemical Performance of Carbon Fiber Electric Field Electrode Modified by Silane Coupling Agent with Amino Groups

  • The electrochemical performance and electric field response performance of the carbon fiber electrode before and after modification by N- (2-aminoethyl) -3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (KH-792) were investigated.Resultsshow that the electrochemical performance of the modified carbon fiber electrode is greatly improved, the specific capacity is 105.96 F/g, 2.2 times of that of the unmodified, the capacitive reactance at low frequency has been decreased. The modified electrode pair has high stability and its potential difference drifts about 10 μV/d. The electrode pair responds well to the 1 m V/1 m Hz electric field signal applied, and the electrochemical self-noise can be as low as 1.7 n V/rtHz@1 Hz.
