Research Progress in TiAl Alloy and Its Welding Technology

The microstructure, mechanical properties, development and application of TiAl alloys are introduced. The conventional welding processes for TiAl alloys and the main existing problems during welding process are summarized, and the feasibility of the main welding processes and the research progress in the welding of TiAl alloys are demonstrated. The development trend of welding research for TiAl alloys is prospected.
