Preparation and Characterization of Silver Nanoparticles

  • Silver nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method with AgNO3 and NaHCO3 as raw materials, and PVP as protecting agent. The effects of concentration of AgNO3 and addition of PEG on the morphl logies of silver nanoparticles were studied. The result showed when the concentrations of AgNO3, NaHCO3, PVP and PEG were 0.06 mol/L, 0.15 mol/L, 0.03 mol/L and 0.05 mol/L, the reaction lasted 4 hrs at 200℃, 50 nm-uniformly sized good dispersity could be obtained.
