Abstract
Mezzanines, holes and the location of metal net in the metal enhanced rubber composite materials with big thickness were detected with nondestructive examination methods. Plate and thickness changing samples fabricated with defects were detected by the ultrasonic and X-ray detection methods. The feasibility of the nondestructive examination in the metal enhanced rubber composite with big thickness was demonstrated preliminarily.
