Synthesis and Properties of Fast Oil-absorption Resins

  • The monomersofmethyl methacrylate (LMA), styrene (St) and butyl acrylate (BA) were used to perpare the Fast oil-absorption resins (ECR). The influences of ratios of monomers on the oil absorption and oil absorption velocity of resins were investigated. The results show that the ECR were synthesizsd successfully and that when the mass fraction of st was 40%, the m (BA):m (LMA)=1:2, the ERC the mazimum absorptance of 3# jet fuel and toluene by the ERC reached 8.25 g/g and 12.77 g/g, respectively.
