Research Progress of Electrode Materials for Supercapacitor

  • Supercapacitor is a new type energy storage device with excellent electrochemical performance. The energy storage mechanism and the advantages of supercapacitors are introduced. The recent research progress of electrode materials including carbon-based materials, metal oxide materials and conductive polymer materials and the requirements of the electrode materials are discussed. The future research direction of electrode materials is prospected.
