Study on Explosive Welding of Thick Copper-steel Composite Materials

  • A single-layer explosive welding on large-thick copper-steel composite was carried out, and the appropriate explosive welding technology was determined by analyzing the parameters of the 20 mm thick copper explosive welding. The composite interface was analyzed by such methods as strength test and metallographic observation. The results showed that the binding performance of the copper and steel would meet the standard requirements.
