A Study on the Glass Transition Temperature Tg of Styrene-butadiene Raw Rubber Measured by DSC and DMA

  • The glass transition temperature Tg of styrene-butadiene raw rubber was tested by two testing methods, differential scanning calorimeter analysis (DSC) and dynamical mechanical analysis (DMA), and how such factors as heating-up rate, thermal history and testing methods affect the Tg of raw rubber was studied.
