Relationship Analysis of Homogeneity of Crack Arrest Property and Tensile Property

  • Homogeneity relationship of test data of crack arrest toughness Kca (-10℃) and tensile mechanical property of high strength plates of thirty-three groups was analyzed. The results show that arrest toughness decreases with the increasing of variable coefficient of yield strength along the thickness direction; that the relationship formula of Kca (-10℃) and CVRp0.2is proposed based on above results:Kca (-10℃)=-7.1·Rp0.2·ln (CVRp0.2)-2.85×10-10·Rp0.2·T02·t2.
