Anti-penetration Behavior of Ceramic Composite Armor against High-quality and High-velocity FSP

  • The influence of the interstitial space on the ceramic composite armor's FSP-proof property is investigated by using large mass high-velocity cylindrical FSP. The results show that the gap in steel/ceramic/fiber composite/gap/steel composite armor is negative to the protective performance of composite armor.
