Study on the Properties of Carbon-glass Hybrid Fiber Acoustic Composite Material

  • The effects of hybrid effect on the tensile, bending, fatigue and acoustic properties of carbon-glass hybrid fiber composite materials were studied. The results showed that as the fiber content increased, the tensile strength and bending strength of the hybrid composite decreased at first and then increased, and that the tensile modulus, bending properties and sound transmission coefficient increased gradually; that compared with glass fiber composites, carbon-glass hybrid fiber composite material exhibited better fatigue properties.
