  • The different ratios of AO-2246 were added to the polyurethane, and the effects on damping and mechanical properties of polyurethane were investigated. The results show that the loss factor-temperature curve of PU/AO-2246 system has only one transition peak, which is a thermodynamic compatible system; that as the amount of AO-2246 increases, the loss factor of polyurethane and the corresponding maximum temperature increase, and tanδmax can reach 1.51; that the elongation at break of polyurethane increases when the proper amount of AO-2246 is added, but its tensile strength and hardness reduce at the same time.
