Effect of Process Parameters on Adhesive Strength of Chloride Butyl

  • The influences of brushing amount and drying time of chloride butyl adhesive on its adhesive strength were discussed. The results showed that when the temperature was 20 ℃ and the humidity 50%, the best range of brushing amount of chloride butyl adhesive was 0.70~0.85 kg/m2; When the temperature and the humidity were certain, to prolong the drying time properly was good for the adhesive strength; When the temperature was within 20 ℃~40 ℃ and the humidity within 50%~80%, the adhesive strength decreased with the rising of temperature and humidity but was still above 2 MPa.
