Research on High Quality Processing Technology of Ta5W Alloy Sheet

  • Ta5 W alloy ingots were obtained by secondary electron beam melting.The forging and heat treatment processes for Ta5 W alloy were studied.The results showed that the as-cast microstructure of Ta5 W alloy could be broken more sufficiently by adopting the forging process of "cross upsetting and drawing" and the rolling process of "reversing billet" with large processing rate; that homogeneous and fine equiaxial grain structure could be obtained by heat treatment at 1 400 ℃ for 60 min, and the grain size could reach above 6.5 grade.
