Research and Development of High Strength Low Magnetic Steels

The major types of low magnetic steels are introduced, and the development status of the nitrogen strengthening, precipitation hardening and stain strengthening high strength low-magnetic steels is reviewed. The future development direction of high strength low-magnetic steels is pointed out, for example, high strength low-magnetic steels with good toughness need to be further exploited and the research on pressure metallurgical technology adapted to industrialized production should be strengthened.
