An abrasive water jet rust removal device was designed, and the de-rusting parameters of the device studied.Results show that when the injection pressure is 40 MPa, the amount of abrasive material 600 g/min, the feed speed 2 000 mm/min, and distance between the nozzel and workpiece 60 mm, the roughness Ra is 4.51 μm, indicating that the smooth surface can meet the processing requirements.
